Jon Hartley is an economics writer and researcher with interests in macroeconomics, finance, and sports analytics. Jon has previously worked at Goldman Sachs Asset Management as a Fixed Income Portfolio Construction and Risk Management Associate and as a Quantitative Investment Strategies Client Portfolio Management Senior Analyst, as a Dallas Cowboys Statistical Analyst and in various policy roles at the Committee on Capital Markets Regulation, U.S. Congress Joint Economic Committee, Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
Jon graduated from University of Chicago with a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics with Honors and from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania with an M.B.A. specializing in finance and business economics in addition to being a M.P.P. candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School.
